Questions

Things readers
usually ask

Is LitList really free?+
Yes — LitList is completely free during beta with no credit card required. You get full library management, journaling, quotes, reading streaks, buddy reads, and more.
Does it work for audiobooks and ebooks too?+
Absolutely. LitList tracks all three formats — physical books by page, ebooks by page or percentage, and audiobooks by hours listened. Everything lives in one library together, and progress tracking adapts to each format.
Can I import my Goodreads library?+
Yes. Export your Goodreads library as a CSV and import it directly into LitList. Your reading history, shelves, and ratings all come across automatically. The whole process takes about two minutes.
What is multi-book scanning?+
Point your phone camera at a stack of books — LitList reads the spines and identifies them automatically, letting you add multiple books to your library at once without typing a single title. Great when you bring home a haul from the library or a bookshop.
Are my journal entries private?+
Completely. Your journal entries are private by default — never visible to other users, never sold, and never used to train AI models. They are encrypted at rest. Your reading thoughts are yours alone.
Can kids use LitList?+
Yes, with a parent or guardian's account. The Family Shelf feature lets you create reading profiles for your children under your account — tracking their books, progress, and reading milestones together. Children don't have independent accounts and no advertising is shown to child profiles.
When does LitList launch?+
LitList is live now on Android — search for it on Google Play or join the waitlist to get the link. iOS via TestFlight is coming soon. Join the waitlist to be notified the moment it lands on the App Store.
